Membership
How to Become a Member
Eligible individuals interested in membership can obtain a Membership Application from the the Membership Chairperson at
dupeirek@yahoo.com , the Apple Tree Gift & Thrift Shop, or by downloading the Membership Form here. You may return application with membership dues to the Membership Chairperson, Apple Tree Gift & Thrift Shop, or any TSA Board member.
 
Membership dues
Membership dues will be $20.00 for any eligible member who is living in the Area IV community before the month of December.  Membership dues will be $10.00 for any person eligible for membership and moves to the Area IV community after the month of December.

Basic Criteria
Membership in the Taegu Spouses’ Association, Area IV is voluntary and issued without regard to race, color, sex, age (18 and older), disability, religion or national origin.  Members must reside in the Area IV Community and be “members of the U.S. Armed Forces, civilian component, dependents, or invited contractors,” as defined under the USA/ROK Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), Article I & XV, respectively.

Membership eligibility criteria are further defined as follows:  Members will pay dues and be eligible to participate in TSA activities, and to vote and hold elective and appointed offices provided they maintain their SOFA status.  No member shall be entitled to a refund of dues upon severing connection with TSA.

(1)  Spouses of Commissioned and Warrant Officers and Enlisted soldiers of the Armed Forces on active duty.

(2)  U.S. Armed Forces officers and Warrant Officers, and Enlisted soldiers.

(3)  Unmarried widows/widowers of Commissioned and Warrant Officers and Enlisted soldiers of the Armed Forces.

(4)  Spouses/adult family members of civilian employees of the Department of Defense. The term “adult” as used in this section refers to a person 18 years or older.

(5)  Civilian employees of the Department of Defense, Appropriated Funds (APF),

(6)  Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF), and contractors.

(7)  Spouses of retired Commissioned and Warrant Officers and Enlisted soldiers of the Armed Forces.
